This is a brand new OEM remington bottom metal assembly that was pulled off a new factory remington 700 rifle. This fits SHORT action remington 700's. Ready to bolt in and use! Intended for short action cartridges like (222,223,243, 22-250, 6.5 creedmoor, 260 remington, 7mm-08, 300 wsm, 7 SAUM, 6.5 PRC etc.) Matte black finish. ***IMPORTANT TO NOTE: We get piles of these from Remington, this is a STOCK PHOTO of the factory bdl bottom metals. Depending on what remington sends us at the time - you may receive a smooth finish flat matte black bottom metal, OR a textured bottom metal. These variations in bottom metal finish is OUT OF OUR CONTROL. Some of these may have minor abrasions from shipping from remington, or storage, again - this is out of our control.
