Elevate your Christmas decor with this exquisite table setting Charger from Versace Home . Crafted from fine porcelain in Germany, at the Rosenthal Studio , in l995, it features extensive 22 carat gold details that light up brilliantly with spotlighting. (Refer to photos.) This Baroque design features the Angel Gabriel who is sent by God with a message for Mary that she would be the mother of the baby Jesus. Measuring 12 inches in length and width, the item offered is an extra large plate or Charger that sits beneath the dinner plate at each table setting. The Charger is also extremely elegant by itself and may be displayed by itself. On the back, two holes are embedded in the base rim for a hanging wire. This is one of the plates in the four-part collector's edition, "Christmas with Versace". The other plates are "Le Roi Balthasar" (1996), "Natavite" (1997) and "Le Cortege de Noel" (1998). This collection is a limited edition of 15,000. On the underside of the plate is a verse repeated around the edge written in German, English, French and Italian languages: "And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth. To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came unto her and said, 'Hail, that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women'." Also on underside of the plate is "Christmas 1995" written in the four languages. Then, "Limited Edition 1995. Christmas with Versace". Then comes the title of the facing plate design, "L'ange Gabriel 1995". (The Angel Gabriel). Within the center black circle is the seal of the manufacturer, Rosenthal Studio-linie, also the logo of Versace, the head of Medusa. I have 2 Charger plates available. They are priced separately. There are not any blemishes, chips, cracks, scratches, marks or manufacturers defects anywhere. I am the original owner. The plates have been in storage while in my care, occasionally taken out to admire. The original boxes have suffered a lot of moisture damage and are a mess but still usable.
